This is a fantastic and creative Film making team building activity, as teams are coached and instructed in the finer processes of making their very own short films or TV Commercials. Split into teams, you will be given a specific theme to work with, a digital video camera and host technician/s to give you filming advice and guidance. Your team also has the ability to earn Theming, Props, Costuming and more in order to make their recording the overall best performance. Groups will run through the idea/creation phase, process phase film creation and recording and then presentation phases to reach their final recording, which will be judge by our host technician/s.

BEFORE THE FILMING

We will confirm with you what style or theme you are looking for and your overall objectives of the team building exercise. We are able to customize our events to suit most requirements and needs. Once this is done, we will ask you to place your group into smaller teams.

ON THE DAY BEFORE FILMING

Your host technicians will come out and set up all that is needed for the event to run. Once your group is ready we will begin explaining the rules, competitions and begin to introduce the props, basic costuming items that the group can earn. This aids in the competitive factor within the group.

THE PROGRAM

Your team will break themselves up into Directors, producers, script writers, actors, cameraman, editors and crew… They will all be given a small packet, that describes the roles and responsibilities of the role they have been assigned. Players need to work within their guidelines, but can choose different roles at each set interval.

Teams are briefed on the intricacies and technical elements of film making by our hosts.

Players will learn.

• Create a script and a storyline

• Role allocation and Talent Identification

• Operate a Digital camera – focusing, panning and Zooming, composing and Framing

• Lighting

• Audio and Sound Effects

• Make-up and costuming.

All of our Film events include host/s to assist the group with their questions, ensure clear and defined learning outcomes and to assist with the creation and idea following processes. Participants will gain an understanding and appreciation of the power of teamwork, relationships, communication and collaboration, team synergy and innovation. Our Lights Camera Rollem program ensures that everyone has participation within the group.

AT THE END

The groups have finished the recording phase and now need to edit their creation into a workable film or TV Commercial piece. Each Film is then Burnt onto an individual DVD and one DVD with all Films for later display.  Should you wish we can arrange the videos to be played over a dinner or later event.
